This is an advanced level seminar for reading and discussing selected scholarly works on Asian Studies. This seminar focuses on a specific theme that reflects instructor’s expertise among various areas in Asian Studies such as political economy, international relations, comparative politics, policy and governance, social phenomenon and problems, religion issues and conflicts, cross-cultural issues and any other relevant topics. This module equips students with substantive level of ability to critically analyse and evaluate the research questions, structure, methodology and most importantly, the contributions of a piece of academic research. In completion of this module, students are able to produce knowledge on issues of Asian Studies which can contribute to both domestic and conceptual discussions.
