The module is designed for students who have completed Japanese IV to develop their intermediate knowledge of Japanese. It aims to reinforce students’ reading, writing, speaking and listening at an intermediate level for social, commercial purposes, especially in the practical use of honorific expressions.
Students are able to carry out conversations include Japanese Cultures which are useful in the communication to Japanese people. The module also introduces different simple rhetoric structures like lyric or literary work.
Upon completion of this module, students should have acquired mastery of almost all basic contemporary and some intermediate contemporary Japanese grammar and 1000 vocabularies, finished the level N4 and reach an elementary level of N3.
