This is elementary to pre-intermediate module for students who have already studied basic level of Korean. This module aims at balanced development of four language learning areas, listening, speaking, reading and writing with reference to the text book, supplementary exercises and class activities.
It focuses on exploring real life situations concerning personal, social and cultural affairs.
After introducing various expressions with commonly used vocabulary and relevant grammar structures, students are able to communicate in Korean more effectively in daily life conversation. Through these studies, they are able to obtain varieties of conversational skills such as formal style of explanation and persuasive style. Furthermore, it highlights the usage of addressing different levels of politeness ending forms to people of different age groups.
